The legal tampering window is open and that means Tom Brady can start talking with teams and could potentially find his new home for the 2020 season in the near future. As things stand, the initial trio of teams in the sweepstakes for the 42-year old are the Chargers, Buccaneers, and the Patriots.
Since the Bolts are actually and seriously in contention for Brady, I thought it would be convenient to put up a tracker for everyone to stay up to date on the latest news involving the QB since his signing could determine the immediate future of this franchise.
The tampering window has opened and #Patriots QB Tom Brady’s agent can hear from teams. My understanding: The #Chargers and #Bucs will inquire, and of course New England wants him back. That is Brady’s market as of right now.

I’ll pin this to the front of the site so it’s no further than a click away. Feel free to use the comments as an open thread to discuss (politely) the prospects of signing Brady for 2020. I will update this with any more news regarding Brady as it breaks.
Update 3/16/20: Tamp Bay seems to be ramping up their efforts for Brady, per NFL Network’s Michael Girardi
I am told the Tampa Bay Bucs have made the intentions to Tom Brady loud and clear.

Update 3/17/20: After a long second day of the legal tampering period, the Chargers are reportedly out of the race for Tom Brady with the Buccaneers the only ones left. As of now, it’s the Bucs or bust for Brady.
The #Bucs have stayed silent all day publicly, but internally they’ve been confident. Just the opposite for the #Chargers. With @JimTrotter_NFL breaking that LAC was out, the designation was clear. Brady expected to stay on the East Coast.

Update 3/17/20: Tom Brady has an agreement to sign with the Buccaneers
To be clear: Former #Patriots QB Tom Brady has an agreement in principle to join the #Bucs, source said. It is believed to be roughly $30M per year.
