The New England Patriots are coming to town and there’s probably not many better presents the Chargers could give to the fan base than a victory over the Pats inside of SoFi Stadium.
Yeah, yeah, it’s not a win over Tom Brady anymore, but it’d be nice to be able to finally hold one over Bill Belichick.
Both teams are, unfortunately, owners of losing records. The Pats are 5-6 and the Bolts are 3-8. Coincidentally, each team saw similar changes at the quarterback position, going from a statue-esque pocket passer to mobile signal-callers that essentially transformed the offense by some measure.
This one might be a bit low-scoring for our tastes. BB is going to press on Justin Herbert’s weaknesses from the first whistle and the Chargers secondary has been improved as of late. This means both quarterbacks may struggle to move the ball through the air and that will potentially lead to a short game, in general.
Either way, I’m crossing my fingers for a well-played, mistake-free game, however unrealistic that may seem after these last 12 weeks.
Enjoy the game, everyone. Bolt Up!
