The folks over at Pro Football Focus recently released their 2020 All-Pro Team, or rather, their three-quarter team as it’s only Week 13 of the season.

Among the many players included on the first and second teams, the Chargers only landed one player on either team. That player was wide receiver Keenan Allen, he was one of the two receiver on the second team, along with Arizona’s DeAndre Hopkins.

After 12 weeks, Allen leads the NFL in both receptions and targets with 85 and 122, respectively. Those targets are 12 more than the next closest receiver, which is actually quite alarming. At the same time, Allen is just 12th in the NFL with 875 receiving yards and tied for 10th with seven touchdowns.

Allen and Herbert wasted no time at all in developing one of the best connections in all of football. Even with other weapons in Mike Williams, Hunter Henry, and Austin Ekeler on the team, Herbert continues to trust Allen in every crucial situation.

Right now, Allen is on pace to set career-highs across the board with 123 receptions, 1,272 yards, and 10 touchdowns.
