After being reported as a game-time decision by Adam Schefter earlier this week, it’s now official that wide receiver Keenan Allen will be inactive against the Broncos as he continues to rehab a lower-body injury that kept him on a limited snap count against the Raiders last week.
The Chargers will also be without their leader on defense as defensive end Joey Bosa will miss Week 16 with his second concussion of the season. This leaves the Bolts with a thin defensive line as pass rusher Uchenna Nwosu was also put on injured reserve earlier this week.
Other Chargers that will be inactive against the Broncos include quarterback Easton Stick, running back Joshua Kelley, offensive guard Tyree St. Louis, and offensive tackle Trey Pipkins.
UDFA defensive end Joe Gaziano and tight end Matt Sokol, who were both promoted for today’s game, will be active. Defensive end Jessie Lemonier, who was the team’s replacement for Nwosu on the active roster, will also be active.
