On Thursday afternoon, Anthony Lynn informed the media during his final presser of the week that tight end Hunter Henry is currently on the COVID-19 list.

This surprising bit of news puts the Chargers in a potential hole at the tight end position heading into their matchup with the Broncos as they have already been down their backup tight end in Virgil Green since their victory over the Jaguars. Lynn announced that third-stringer Donald Parham will start in his place should he not be able to return prior to Sunday.

For the first time in his career, it looked as if Henry would finally be able to stay healthy and play in all 16 games in 2020. Through 14 games, the former second-round pick has a career-high 60 receptions for 613 yards and four touchdowns. Were he to return this season, Henry would need just 40 more receiving yards to set a new career high in that area.
