After the team’s second-straight victory last Thursday, the Chargers are back on the upward path in this week’s edition of ESPN’s power rankings. This week, they were bumped up a pair of spots from No. 23 to No. 21. Currently, they sit one spot above the 5-9 Giants and one spot behind the 5-9 49ers.

The Bolts host the Broncos this Sunday at SoFi Stadium and it’s probably they’re last chance to improve on their 2019 record prior to a season finale at Arrowhead in Week 17. Will they get the job done? I sure as hell hope so. If not, then it’s back to the silver lining that is a higher draft pick in 2021.
