Chargers Daily Links: Bolts could be without top wideouts against Raiders

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Los Angeles Chargers Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sports

After the team’s final injury report came out on Wednesday, it was announced that Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are not only questionable, but they are “true game-time decisions.”

Usually when this is a case, it’s a real 50/50. or less, chance that they end up playing. It would be phenomenal if they did play later tonight as the Raiders are currently set to have four defensive started out with injuries. If Both Allen and Williams can’t go, the Bolts will be forced to trot out a bunch of former UDFAs and late-round picks at wide receiver.

Running back Austin Ekeler is also questionable, but the word, according to Adam Schefter, is that he will be good to go tonight.

Man, could you imagine if the starting wideouts this week were Tyron Johnson, Jalen Guyton, and K.J. Hill? That would also mean that Joe Reed would likely see some notable snaps, as well. Is it a bad thing that I sort’ve want that to happen so the team is forced to see what they have in their younger wideouts? I don’t think it’s that crazy, but I also want a win against the Raiders in Las Vegas.

And now for today’s links.
