Ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Falcons, the Chargers announced that they are activating running back Justin Jackson from the reserve/injured list. Jackson has been on IR for the past month.
In a corresponding moves, the team is waiving linebacker Asmar Bilal, a 2020 undrafted free agent signed earlier this year.
The Chargers are also activating linebacker B.J. Bello from practice squad. He’s been promoted once before as Anthony Lynn has looked to him as a potential special teams player who could help reinforce the lackluster unit.
In a pair of practice squad moves, the Bolts are signing punter Lachlan Edwards and releasing wide receiver Manasseh Bailey.
Edwards was originally signed to the Bolts’ practice squad two weeks ago before being released with kicker JJ Molson earlier this week. Bailey spent just a few days on the practice squad as he was also signed earlier this week in a corresponding move along with Edwards’ release.
