The Chargers announced their inactives ahead of their Week 9 contest against the Raiders and fans will once again have to wait another week to see offensive guard Trai Turner return to the starting lineup.
The other inactives for Sunday include star defensive end Joey Bosa, quarterback Easton Stick, running back Troymaine Pope, offensive tackle Storm Norton, and defensive end Jessie Lemonier.
Bosa suffered a concussion in last week’s game against the Broncos and never showed much hope for playing this week. Pope is also out with a concussion.
Turner was fully expected to play this week after missing the majority of the season with a groin injury. He even went as far as to tweet to fans this week that he would be back soon, but apparently it’s not as soon as many expected.
With Bosa out and Lemonier inactive, Isaac Rochell is likely to see the biggest boost in snaps at base end. There’s also a chance Uchenna Nwosu and Melvin Ingram see time on the field together on obvious passing situations.
