Despite dropping their latest game against the Broncos, including five of their last six, the Chargers are being picked to beat the Raiders this Sunday by CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco.

And, as you would expect, Prisco thinks this one is going to come down to a one-score game.

The Raiders impressed last week on the road winning at Cleveland,” says Prisco. “The defense came up big. They face a tough challenge in hot rookie passer Justin Herbert. The Chargers find new ways to blow leads seemingly every week. But that won’t happen here as Herbert has a big day. Pick: Chargers 31, Raiders 27

The score is fairly realistic as the Chargers have scored over 30 points in three of their last four games with a season-high 39 coming against the Jaguars in Week 7. The Raiders defense hasn’t shown to be that stout this season and their offense has had to put points on board in order to keep up.

If the Chargers play their usual game, they’ll be up in the fourth once again. Will this be the week they finally play a full four quarters on defense? God, I hope so.

Now for today’s links.
