On today’s show, I give you guys the latest on the call to action proposed by Joey Bosa and Keenan Allen this week, both of whom stressed the importance of stepping up and making plays when given the opportunity.
Last week against the Dolphins, the Chargers missed three to four opportunities to pick off Tua Tagovailoa. Any of those plays could have been enough to help turn the tide against Miami, and Bosa, who was stuck at home watching on television, knows it.
Without Philip Rivers, the Chargers are without their “guy” whom everyone looks to in struggling times like these. Veterans like Bosa and Allen will be looked to as those guys since each signed themselves a big contract extension this offseason. Newer veterans like Linval Joseph, Bryan Bulaga, and Chris Harris can be those types of players, but again, they just got here.
Enjoy the episode and we’ll see you on Sunday!
