On Wednesday morning, the NFL and NFL Players Association announced a tentative schedule for the 2021 league calendar. As of now, however, all the dates are currently still open to change at a later date.
The first notable date on the calendar is the end of the 2020/start of the 2021 league year. Right now, it’s set for 4pm on March 17.
Offseason workouts for teams with a new head coach will begin on April 5 while all other clubs will begin on April 19.
Lastly, the 2021 NFL Draft is scheduled to take place from April 29 to May 1. It will take place roughly a week later in the year than the 2020 draft, which began on April 23 and went through April 25.

With all the uncertainty that has surrounded the 2020 season, it’s almost refreshing to already see some dates for the NFL for next year. Not that I didn’t expect them, but it’s just great to finally see something tangible for post-2020.
