Chargers vs Dolphins Game Thread

It’s on.

The premiere matchup between two rookie quarterbacks picked in this year’s top 10 is finally here. I don’t know about all of you, but I’ve had this game circled since before the season started and I’d say you were insane if you didn’t do the same.

Justin Herbert is still looking for his second win as a starting quarterback in the NFL while Tua is already 2-0 through his first two starts. The difference between the two teams has squarely been the performance of their defenses.

The Chargers, while being being one of the least-aggressive units in the league, have somehow found a way to play extremely dominant football for a solid two and a half quarters. The Dolphins, though, have shown they can play four full quarters of intense, hard-nosed football from start to finish.

Turnovers have also been a pivotal stat for each club. The Bolts don’t turn it over all that much, but they struggle to take it away with any consistency. They’re currently -3 in the turnover differential.

Through eight games, Miami stands at No. 4 in the NFL with a +5 in turnover differential.

I truly, truly hope this game lives up to the hype.

Let’s do the damn thing. Bolt up, baby!
