On Thursday afternoon, the Chargers announced the signing of defensive tackle Lee Autry to the practice squad. Autry fills the 16th and final spot on the Bolts’ practice squad.

The former Mississippi State defender originally signed with the Chicago Bears after he went undrafted in 2020. The 6’2, 305-pound tackle was with MSU from 2017-2019, redshirting in ‘17 after transferring from the JUCO level and starting five total games across his final two seasons.

In his senior season, Autry recorded 12 total tackles, 2.5 tackles-for-loss, and a half a sack. He missed the final eight games of the season after being suspended for violating team rules.

At Itawamba Community College, where Autry spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons, he was a four-star prospect and the No. 2 JUCO defensive tackle prospect, according to ESPN.com. Over two seasons, he finished with 47 tackles, 12.5 for a loss, and five sacks.

He is also the younger brother of fellow NFL defensive tackle, Denico Autry.
