MNF Open Thread: Eagles @ 49ers

Which team with a million injuries will come out on top tonight?

Both the 49ers and the Eagles have been hit hard with injuries up and down their rosters. The 49ers lost two starting defensive linemen in a span of three plays just a few weeks ago, but they finally get back some of their other starters tonight, including All-Pro tight end George Kittle.

Carson Wentz has had a tough time running the Eagles offense when none of his too wide receivers have been available all that often. 2020 first-round pick Jalen Reagor has barely seen the field due to injuries, and the same goes for veterans DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffrey.

The Eagles are also missing two of their starting offensive linemen in right guard Brandon Brooks and left tackle Jason Peters. That’s a bit balanced out with the Niners missing pass rushers Nick Bosa, Soloman Thomas, and Dee Ford.

I don’t know if tonight’s game will be anything close to “must-watch football”, but it’s football, nonetheless.
