Just a day after offensive guard Ryan Groy was placed on both the reserve/COVID-19 list and injured reserve, offensive tackle Trey Pipkins was placed on the list ahead of Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos.
As of now, this does not mean Pipkins actually has the virus and it also doesn’t mean he won’t be available against Denver. There’s a chance he’s healthy and good to go by Sunday afternoon and the Bolts will need it as Bryan Bulaga is still questionable on the team’s final injury report.
Anthony Lynn told the media that if both Bulaga and Pipkins aren’t available this week, Tyree St. Louis will likely draw the start in his place. St. Louis played offensive tackle at the University of Miami before transitioning to the interior in the NFL.
Pipkins was one of three players, including Easton Stick and Forrest Lamp, as guys who wouldn’t have participated should there have been a practice yesterday.
