Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Chargers fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

The results haven’t been there for the Chargers, but the fan belief is there in full force. Despite their fourth-straight loss, confidence jumped back up among the faithful.

According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, 67% of Chargers fans believe the team is headed in the right direction.

The confidence is likely due to the electric play of rookie quarterback Justin Herbert. The apprehension, on the other hand, sits in no small part with the coaching staff. Make sure to sign up for Reacts this week as I’ll be surveying all of you over the coming weeks on topics such as the coaching staff or which players the Chargers should prioritize in free agency next year.

This week against the Jaguars, the Bolts have a real good chance to get their season headed in the right direction.

Of course, even at 1-4, things could be worse. That can’t necessarily be said about the New York Jets. Fans were asked how the winless Jets compare to the worst teams in modern NFL history. If nothing else, at least the Jets are the best at something.
