The Chargers are coming off of a much-needed bye just in time for their schedule to get a bit easier. After facing three former Super Bowl MVPs in their first five games, the Bolts will get the 1-5 Jaguars at home before facing the 2-3 Broncos in Denver.

If it gives you some early optimism, the Chargers are currently 7.5-point favorites over the Jags according to the fine folks at BetMGM.com.

Jacksonville heads into Week 7 as the 23rd-best offense in the NFL and 29th-ranked defense in the NFL in terms of total yards. The more you look at this matchup, the more you see a surefire get-right game for the Chargers and the first win for Justin Herbert as the team’s starting quarterback.

And now for today’s links.
