Hello everyone, and happy Friday!
We all got a surprise bye week quite a bit earlier than we all planned for but here we are. With no game to preview for this weekend, I decided to combine the Monday Night Football recap with some other topics so I could give myself a little extra time off, as well.
Besides discussing Herbert’s historic performance against the Saints, Gavino Borquez, managing editor for Chargers Wire, joins to discuss the coaching and how we think they’re performing through the first five weeks of the season before we delve into some names to remember for the upcoming. Specifically, ones that feel could end up wearing the Charger bolt this time next year.
Spoiler alert: Each of has have the top three needs as (in no order): offensive line, cornerback, and edge rusher. Gavino thinks the team may draft another wide receiver and I think the Chargers could go for a H-Back or “move tight end”, like in the mold of the Titans’ Jonnu Smith.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy the episode! Have a great weekend! Get some rest and stay healthy!
