According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, the Chargers have officially moved on from Philip Rivers as their starting quarterback after 16 years with the team. Heading into this offseason, Rivers is a free agent at 38 years old and he’s already made it clear that he plans on continuing his football career “with the Chargers or somewhere else”.

Most recently, Rivers permanently moved his family from San Diego to Florida which was a major domino to fall in this saga. It’s still early on in the process but all things are pointing more and more to the Chargers selecting a quarterback in the first round of this year’s draft.
UPDATE:
Marty Caswell of XTRA 1360 in San Diego was quick to clarify that the initial report from Glazer was false. This just became a lot more interesting. We will keep you guys posted if any other updates come up.
Am told this is incorrect. https://t.co/31x7oOlJty
