Joey Bosa and Keenan Allen named to PFWA All-AFC Team

NFL: Oakland Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sports

The Slayer and the Big Bear have both been named to the PFWA All-AFC Team at their respective positions just days after linebacker Drue Tranquill was named to their All-Rookie squad.

Both players led the Chargers in a number of categories this past season while also posting career-highs along the way.

Keenan Allen caught a 104 passes which narrowly topped his own franchise record of 102 in 2017. He also led the team in receiving yards with 1,199 and finished second on the team with six touchdown catches.

Joey Bosa recorded 11.5 sacks, his second-most in a season (12.5), and notched a career-high in tackles-for-loss and quarterbacks hits with 18 and 31, respectively. His 67 total tackles were also second on the team behind linebacker Thomas Davis.

With both players still obviously at the top of their games, you can fully expect the Chargers to work dilligently towards keeping these two under wraps for the forseeable future.
