Chargers CB Michael Davis exits with hamstring injury

NFL: Preseason-Los Angeles Chargers at Arizona Cardinals Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Chargers went into the game already a little light at the cornerback position with Trevor Williams sidelined by injury and Rodric Teamer inactive. Things have not improved with the news just now that Michael Davis has exited with a hamstring strain.

Brandon Facyson has come on in his place, but the defensive backfield will certainly be stretched thin by this development. Thankfully, the Colts are no longer quarterbacked by Andrew Luck, but Jacoby Brissett is more than capable of carving a defense up as the head of Frank Reich’s offense.

We will see how things progress as the game continues, but this is certainly cause for concern.
