NFL: San Diego Chargers at Indianapolis Colts Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Chargers will open the season by playing host to the Andrew Luck-less Indianapolis Colts. The Bolts will be without superstar safety Derwin James, but they are otherwise remarkably healthy on the defensive side of the ball, and on offense the only meaningful player they are missing is left tackle Russell Okung. This game will no doubt be tough as almost all NFL contests are, but the Chargers are big favorites for good reason.

Game time

Kickoff is set for Sunday, September 8, 2019, at 1:05 p.m. PT at ROKiT Field at Dignity Health Sports Park, Carson, CA.

TV schedule and TV channels

CBS Sports will air the game, which you can find in Los Angeles and Orange County on KCBS-TV Ch. 2.

Announcers: Play-by-play Greg Gumbel, color analyst Trent Green, sideline Melanie Collins

Online stream

Chargers radio is on KFI-AM 640 and called by Matt Smith, analyst Daniel Jeremiah, and sideline reporter Shannon Farren. The Spanish Broadcast is carried by KFWB-AM 980 called by Mario Solis and Jorge Villanueva.
