The Chargers have been overly cautious with hamstring injuries the last few seasons. They are usually lingering injuries that are very easy to aggravate. Depending on what the actual injury is, we could see the team call up Artavis Scott or Andre Patton sooner than expected.
With the team only carrying 5 WRs, and Melvin Gordon not playing, the team likely can’t afford to roll with just 4 WRs that are healthy. It was surprising to see the team only keep 5 WRs on the roster in the first place.
If the team does call up either Scott or Patton, I’d expect Nick Dzubnar is 1st on the list of names to go with the LB group being as deep and healthy as they are right now.
In the mean time, we can hope that it’s not a tear and he’ll be down for this week and be back for next week.
