On a day of multiple injuries for the Chargers, at least one of them is a big one.
Anthony Lynn said Sean Culkin tore his Achilles and is done for the year.

With Hunter Henry down for a few more weeks, and Virgil Green banged up, things are getting really thin at TE.
Sean Culkin was TE3 going into the year but was TE1 this week due to injuries. Now he’s done for the year. The Chargers only have 1 healthy TE on the roster, and he’s only been on the roster for 2 weeks.
Hopefully Virgil Green can come back quickly and Hunter Henry really can come back in the next few weeks. Especially with how many WRs the Chargers have that are banged up too. Mike Williams, Travis Benjamin, and now Dontrelle Inman are all hurt.
I know Philip Rivers can make anyone look like stud catching the ball, but this is getting ridiculous. Even with Melvin Gordon coming back, I’d expect to see a lot of 2 and possibly 3 RB formations with how thin the Chargers are getting at TE and WR.
