The deadline for NFL teams to drop their rosters from 90 to 53 is today. Multiple teams started making moves yesterday but the Los Angeles Chargers didn’t announce any moves until today.
Check back here throughout the day for updates as they come in.
Players that were released/waived:
Cardale Jones - QB
T.Y. McGill - DT
Detrez Newsome - RB
Andre Patton - WR
Artavis Scott - WR
Jaylen Watkins - DB
Here are the players the #Chargers have waived. Interesting to see S Jaylen Watkins on here also WR Artavis Scott. QB Easton Stick makes the team. So does S Roderic Teamer which means at least one undrafted free agent has made the opening day 53-man roster for 23 straight seasons pic.twitter.com/NFyGxfmIj3
