The most overvalued fantasy football player on every roster - Daniel Kelley
Austin Ekeler, RB (64th overall, RB29): I’ve been on the Ekeler bandwagon since his rookie season, but his stock has gotten out of control. First off, I expect Melvin Gordon will play at least a big chunk of the season, if not all of it. Second, if he doesn’t, Ekeler has never shown he can handle a full-time workload. Justin Jackson will take enough of the work that taking Ekeler this high won’t pay off.
PFF Rankings: NFL starting quarterback rankings for 2019 - Steve Palazzolo
In 2018, Rivers posted his best grade since 2010, finishing with the fifth-best mark in the league at 88.9 overall. He was strong all around, finishing the regular season sixth in big-time throw percentage, fourth in PFF grade under pressure, ninth in PFF grade from a clean pocket and fourth at avoiding negatively graded throws. Rivers has dealt with a poor offensive line for a number of years now, and while his production has dipped at times, he’s handled the situation well. This is a big year to see if he’s truly back to form after multiple years grading in the 70.0s and low 80.0s or if he’ll regress back into the 2014-17 form that saw him as a borderline top-10 quarterback rather than a lock in the top echelon of the league.
Chargers' 'Jack Boys' seek return to thieving ways - Eric D. Williams
"Any time it touches any one of our hands we want to get the ball, especially myself," Hayward said when asked about the play. "We all hold ourselves to a high standard. As a defense, we want to lead the league in turnovers ... One of the big ones you can do is get interceptions."
Good, bad, ugly from Chargers’ 23-15 loss to Seahawks - Gavino Borquez
Tranquill continued to make a statement with his performance last night. The rookie out of Notre Dame led all defenders in tackles (9). Even though the run defense was underwhelming early on, Tranquill helped change the tone when he entered the game at MIKE.
Los Angeles Chargers: Five players on chopping block - Alexander Insdorf
Scott has to show something really good in the last game to have a chance. Andre Patton is gunning for the spot after his performance last week versus the Saints, and scored once more against the Seahawks. With four or five receivers set in stone with Inman and Geremy Davis likely on the roster, Scott has to show something just to be the sixth guy. And to be honest, no one saw this going quite this way.
