On Wednesday afternoon, the Chargers announced they have officially signed their second-round pick, Nasir Adderley.
Adderley was a one of, if not, the top safety prospect in the 2019 NFL Draft. Often mocked as a late first-round selection, the former Delaware Blue Hen found himself available on day two when the Bolts scooped him up with the 60th overall selection.

While at Delaware, Adderley had 11 career interceptions, returning two of them for touchdowns. He also made one of the craziest plays of the year at the FCS level when he returned a kickoff 92 yards to the house after crushing a would-be tackler near the sideline.
I think Nasir Adderley is a first-round talent.

The signing comes just one day after the team officially signed defensive tackle Jerry Tillery, their first-round pick from this year’s draft.
With their top two picks having now taken pen to paper, the Chargers can finish up mini camp with a few less distractions on their minds.
