Report: Chargers’ Tre’Von Johnson allegedly choked by his sister

In an altercation that began with a dispute regarding laundry, Chargers’ linebacker Tre’Von Johnson was allegedly choked by his sister, Tkeyah Johnson. TMZ reported the story:

According to police documents, Tre’Von and his sister, Tkeyah Johnson, got into a scrap when she wanted to wash her clothes at Tre’Von’s Denton County, Texas home ... but he prevented her.

Tkeyah was charged with domestic assault involving choking -- a felony in Texas -- and later posted bond.

Johnson was originally signed by the Chargers to their practics squad on October 10, 2018, He was later promoted to the active roster on November 13, 2018, and played in four regular season games. He was eventually waived on December 13, 2018, but re-signed to the practice squad. This offseason, the team signed him once again to a reserve/future contract on January 14, 2019.

Johnson has been in the National Football League for two seasons and the Chargers are his fourth team during that time.
