The best picks from Day 2 of the 2019 NFL Draft - Michael Renner
Adderley was the top safety on our board and the ideal single high safety to pair with Derwin James in the box. He had four picks and six pass breakups last season.

Instant analysis of Los Angeles Chargers selecting FS Nasir Adderley - Gavino Borquez
On film, Adderley plays the position with phenomenal instincts, range and ball skills, which is needed to be a great NFL safety. He is a former cornerback and his hip fluidity reflects that. He is smooth in his backpedal and his combination of recognizing plays and burst allow him to cover ground in a flash.

Instant analysis of Chargers selecting OT Trey Pipkins - Gavino Borquez
Los Angeles’ offensive line struggled as a whole towards the end of the 2018 season, but much of that fell on the shoulders of Sam Tevi. Drafting Pipkins only helped add a inside-out depth piece to supply competition for Tevi or Dan Feeney in 2019.

Trey Pipkins NFL Draft 2019: Scouting Report for Los Angeles Chargers' Pick - Matt Miller
There's no doubt Pipkins has NFL traits and size (6'6", 309 lbs). It's simply a matter of getting him in with the right cleanup crew. He has some habits and tendencies that won't work in the NFL and have to be ironed out, but there is tremendous potential waiting to be developed. He's likely a Day 3 player, but he's got a great shot at landing a swing tackle role early on before getting a crack at starting.

Nasir Adderley NFL Draft 2019: Scouting Report for Los Angeles Chargers' Pick - Matt Miller
Adderley is one of the best coverage safeties in the entire draft, showing a full tool set of instincts, ball skills and athleticism when matched up in man or zone. Despite coming from a small school, he has the ability to play immediately in the NFL as a starter at free safety or in nickel cornerback situations. His versatility will be a big selling point.

How the East-West Shrine Game Put Trey Pipkins on the Map - Hayley Elwood
According to Telesco, Pipkins has “left tackle abilities” as he started at left tackle both his junior and senior seasons with the Cougars. But coupled with his size and technique, Pipkins also has the acumen to go along with it. Smaller school aside, the Bolts believe his mental fortitude will help him acclimate to life in the NFL.
