With the 60th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, Tom Telesco and the Los Angeles Chargers have selected safety out of Delaware, Nasir Adderley. The Chargers needed a safety to pair with last year’s top pick Derwin James and Adderley is just a fantastic selection. He has the talent that it would have been reasonable to take him yesterday.
The Chargers have effectively added two first round talents without having to move up. Tom Telesco is having himself a beauty of a draft through two rounds. Gus Bradley has to be a very happy man right now. The jump in quality from Jahleel Addae to Nasir Adderley is difficult to even comprehend. Addae could not play the position and Adderley is an above average player from day 1.
