CB Trevor Williams is officially under contract again and ready to work.
Chargers’ RFA cornerback Trevor Williams signed his tender today. Back to work with the start of the off-season workout programs and little restricted free-agent this year.

Trevor Williams was one of the best stories on Defense during the 2017 season. In his second year in the league he wound up starting 15 of 16 games and came away with 2 interceptions and 13 passes defended. He was a bright spot on the defense and looked like a fantastic CB2 across from Casey Hayward.
2018 rolled around and Trevor took a step back. He wound up only starting 7 games, losing playing time to Michael Davis. He had a handful of injuries, which started in Training Camp, and ended in Trevor being placed on the IR in December.
We have all seen Trevor play at a very high level and hopefully with an extra month or so to heal up heading into the off-season, he can regain the form that earned him that starting role in 2017.
