Well “House Tyrell” Williams will be fighting under a new banner going forward.
Former Chargers’ WR Tyrell Williams intends to sign with the Oakland Raiders, per source.

Tyrell Williams has been a good wide receiver for the Chargers for a few years now. He was a legit deep threat, and a great option for Philip Rivers. He did have some problems with drops from time to time, but all in all he was a solid #2 for the team more often than not.
While it does sting a little to see him go to the Oakland Raiders, the return on investment for the Chargers front office is likely going to be large. Tyrell was widely thought to be one of the best, if not the best, FA WR option this offseason. While we don’t have official numbers yet, the Raiders likely gave him a contract in the neighborhood of $10M+ per year, which means the Chargers should be on pace for a 4th or possibly 3rd round comp pick next year.
The good news for the Raiders is that with Antonio Brown also on the team for them, Tyrell will get to enjoy continuing to be WR2 where he is most successful.
I’m happy for Tyrell, he definitely earned this opportunity and I wish him health and a successful career going foward...except when he plays the Chargers of course.
