How former Chargers fared in the AAF week 3

Former kickers showing consistency through the first month of play

Another wild weekend in the AAF has passed and a few surprising outcomes were on tap for fans who are still giving their fandom to the new league three weeks into their inaugural season.

A pair of teams got revenge on week 1 opponents, including the Salt Lake City Stallions over the Arizona Hotshots and the San Diego Fleet over the San Antonio Commanders.

Both winning teams were propelled to victory by a handful of former Chargers, some playing their best games up to this point in the Alliance.

Here’s how the former Bolts performed over the weekend.

  • One catch for nine yards

Terrell Watson - RB - San Diego Fleet (2-1)

  • 13 carries for 73 yards, one catch for three yards

Nelson Spruce - WR - San Diego Fleet (2-1)

  • Four catches for 50 yards and two touchdowns

Ben Johnson - TE - San Diego Fleet (2-1)

  • One catch for seven yards

Brandon Oliver - RB - Salt Lake City Stallions (1-2)

  • 15 carries for 40 yards and a touchdown, one catch for -2 yards

Tenny Palepoi - DE - Salt Lake City Stallions (1-2)

  • Two total tackles and a TFL

Channing Stribling - CB - Memphis Express (0-3)

  • One total tackle
