UPDATE: Desmond King ruled out with an ankle injury

Los Angeles Chargers cornerback Desmond King has left the game with an apparent ankle injury. He is questionable to return. Gus Bradley’s defense is already thin in the secondary and the loss of his second-best corner while trying to contain Patrick Mahomes and co. is not what you would hope for.

Early returns were not bad, however, and the defense sans King managed to force a Dustin Colquitt punt after being helped along by an offensive penalty that wiped away a Chiefs 1st down and put them behind the chains.

UPDATE: Desmond King has been ruled out.
