Chargers vs. Vikings open thread

The Los Angeles Chargers (5-8) host the Minnesota Vikings (9-4) today as the two teams would both benefit from the same result. The Vikings are very much still in the playoff hunt and the Bolts are only playing for draft position. If all goes well, Minnesota will leave Carson with a win and both teams will be better off than they were this morning because of it.

If, however, Philip Rivers and the Chargers offense are able to overcome the Minnesota defense while Derwin James and the Jack Boys are able to hold down the likes of Kirk Cousins, Adam Thielen, and Dalvin Cook... well, things could end up bad for both sides. That said, one certainly has to hope the Chargers manage to, at least, play well in a loss so that they might build upon the result for the future.
