The Los Angeles Chargers and Minnesota Vikings will kick off in a little over an hour and we now know who the Bolts will be without. Easton Stick, as always, is the third-string quarterback and so will be inactive. Defensive back Desmond King was announced last night that he would not play for non-injury reasons. The rest of the inactives are all players you expect to see on this list each week with the possible exception of rookie offensive tackle Trey Pipkins who had started to see actual playing time as this season went on.

The only player whose absence is likely to have any effect on the outcome of today’s game is King and since losing is actually better for the future of the franchise than winning is at this point, there is no reason for Chargers fans to shed any tears about his being benched. However, there should be some worry about the fact that Anthony Lynn has had to make this call in consecutive weeks.
