Why 2020 NFL free agency could be wild, and all the big names set to hit the market - Dan Graziano
Add in hot starters like Chargers running back Austin Ekeler and Bucs pass-rusher Shaquil Barrett, who could be playing themselves into big paydays if they keep up their performances, and you have a robust-looking March 2020 free-agent market. So let's take a look at a couple of the factors that could shape it -- and the months leading up to it:

Chargers to split carries between Melvin Gordon, Austin Ekeler - Eric D. Williams
"We have a plan for Melvin," Lynn said Friday. "I don't want to put him in there and play him too much. And I really don't have to. I like what Austin Ekeler has been doing in the backfield. ... Whenever [Gordon is] ready to go, he will be the No. 1 guy and get the bulk of the snaps. But obviously he's not there right now."

Week 5's biggest fantasy football questions: 32 NFL reporters give advice - ESPN
Because of his size and basketball background, Hayward generally plays well against bigger receivers. However, the Chargers also have to know where Emmanuel Sanders is on the field. He totaled 104 receiving yards in last week's loss against the Jaguars.

Recapping Chargers' Forrest Lamp's short, but sweet performance in Week 4 - Gavino Borquez
On the scoring play, Lamp shines in a one-on-one situation with Godchaux. Lamp shows good footwork, drops his hips and anchors mid-shuffle and finishes with sound hand usage to keep him off balance.

Los Angeles Chargers under review after 4 games - Mark Liedahl
The threat of Ekeler, Jackson and Newsome has freed up the wide receivers for some amazing performances of their own. Keenan Allen is on an absolute tear this season. He appears almost unstoppable. Mike Williams was looking good before being sidelined by injury, he is expected back this week for the game against Denver. Williams’ return could not come at a better time as it was announced earlier this week that Dontrelle Inman was placed on IR.
