The Los Angeles Chargers and Chicago Bears are only an hour away from kickoff in Chicago, and we now know who will and will not be suiting up for the game. The Chargers’ inactive report, as usual, is filled with major contributors. Almost the entirety of their interior defensive line is going to miss this one. Veteran Brandon Mebane has not been terribly effective this season, and now he is going to miss another game. Justin Jones had been the team’s top defensive tackle and he is also out once again. Rookie Cortez Broughton filled in admirably last week, and now he will be sidelined for roughly the next month.
Justin Jackson, arguably the team’s best pure runner, will continue to miss time. And jumping back to the defensive side of the ball, linebacker Jatavis Brown will be unable to play. The Money Badger, Michael Badgley, is still not ready to make his 2019 debut, and at this point, you have to wonder if he will.
