Chargers' Melvin Gordon, Austin Ekeler Fantasy Stock, Trade Value After Week 7 - Joseph Zucker
Gordon ran for 32 yards on 16 carries and caught two passes for minus-three yards on three targets. Ekeler was limited mostly to receiving duties and made the most of it, logging seven receptions for 118 yards on eight targets. He also ran for seven yards.
NFL Week 7 Team of the Week - PFF Analysis Team
While his brother was mud-sliding in Washington, Joey Bosa turned in a dominant performance against Tennessee. He recorded three hurries, one quarterback hit and two sacks on the day. He also led all defenders with 20 or more pass-rush snaps in pass-rush win rate (32.1%) and picked up a forced fumble in the contest.
Chargers: Why no changes may occur this offseason - Tyler Schoon
But that won’t fix the other half dozen issues hindering the team right now, many of which stem from coaching, schemes, personnel decisions, and what now looks like a disastrous 2019 draft class thus far.
Rodgers' best game, Russ' pick-six and more - Bill Barnwell
Since returning in Week 5, he has carried the ball 36 times for 81 yards. Among 47 qualifying backs, he ranks 46th in yards per carry (2.3), tied for 46th in first-down rate (5.6%), and tied for sixth in fumbles (two). He has turned nine catches on 14 targets into a total of just 34 yards, an average of less than 4 yards per reception. It's difficult to be less productive than Gordon with this many touches.
Chargers in disbelief over loss to Titans -- 'On the field, we won it twice' - Eric D. Williams
"At the end we needed one yard to win this game, and we didn't get it," Lynn said. "You don't get one yard, then you don't deserve to win this damn game. That's just the way it is. We needed one yard to win this game, and we let it slip out of our hands."
NFL Week 7 PFF ReFocused: Tennessee Titans 23, Los Angeles Chargers 20 - PFF Analysis Team
Philip Rivers made some key throws in this game to keep drives alive. His receivers made a few great catches along the sideline, but for the most part, Rivers put the ball in great spots, including a deep touchdown late in the game to the ever-ascending Austin Ekeler.
Chargers Work Out DL Adolphus Washington - Marc Delucchi
Los Angeles started a recently signed free agent, T.Y. McGill, on Sunday against the Titans. So if Washington ends up signing, he could very well see extended time while the team awaits for the return of the original starters.
