Chargers vs. Chiefs: Inactives

New, comments

We know about Bosa, but who else will not be suiting up today?

NFL: Los Angeles Chargers at Dallas Cowboys Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Chargers have announced the following as inactive for today’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs...

Joey Bosa was announced earlier this week, so no surprise there. Brandon Facyson, undrafted rookie who surprised many by making the 53 man roster as the sixth corner, will be inactive for the first week of the season. Emmanuel Ellerbee and T.Y. McGill, who the team picked up off of waivers after the rosters were trimmed down to 53, will both be inactive to start their Chargers career as well.

On the offensive side, Scott Quessenberry, the versatile interior lineman the team selected in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL draft, will be a healthy scratch. Forrest Lamp, the second round selection from the 2017 NFL draft, will be inactive for this week, further pushing back the debut that we all have been dying to see. The team decided to keep six wide receivers heading in to the regular season, but they will only have five today as they will sit Geremy Davis.

The Chiefs will be without the following players for today’s contest...

Eric Berry was expected, which could be huge for the Chargers’ offense if they wish to test them deep today.
