With the Battle for Los Angeles, or Fight for LA, or whatever you want to call it mere hours away, there are two airplanes flying over the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum carrying messages for the Los Angeles Chargers.
Those messages are, “NFL, listen to Ice Cube. Chargers don’t belong in LA,” and “Go back to San Diego Chargers! LA doesn’t want you.” Annie Heilbrunn tweeted images of the banners:

Per Annie, the banners flying over the stadium were paid for by a combination of former Chargers fans as well as current Rams and Raiders fans. The entire stunt was coordinated by the so-called SD Sign Guy and he had more to add:
Plane 1 - Yo @icecube you're right. The #Chargers don't belong in LA and nobody in LA wants them. It's easy @NFL - the Chargers have one home and one home only, in San Diego. Dean Spanos needs to sell the team and save himself anymore embarrassment for his family. pic.twitter.com/pVH65Ca7HN

Plane 2 - This plane was purchased by Rams and Raiders fans in LA. They hate the fact that the Chargers are in LA and not in San Diego, where they belong. @NFL you made a terrible decision and I hope you get use to having thousands of empty seats at the new stadium. pic.twitter.com/avsChLv2ml

The Spanos family’s decision to relocate the Chargers from San Diego to Carson continues to leave many filled with anger, and it is difficult to fault those former Chargers fans who supported the team for decades before having the team ripped away from them. Events like this continue to embarrass the franchise.
