Take this rumor for what it’s worth, but it’s pretty exciting no matter which way you attempt to view it.
According to the twitter account @MySportsUpdate (111K followers), the former Colts and Giants defensive tackle has recently met with the Chargers and Browns, among a number of other teams.
Free agent DT Johnathan Hankins says he's met with the #Chargers and #Browns, among others, and plans on signing with a team "pretty soon."

“I believe I’ll be with a team pretty soon,” Hankins said during a recent interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio. “I’ve just been really talking to teams and trying to figure out what would be the best fit. Just taking my time with things, and I feel like I’ll be with a team very soon, before the season gets started.”
For the entire offseason, many of us believed Hankins to be the last piece of the puzzle that could solidify the biggest weakness of the defense. At 6-foot-3 and 320 pounds, he is the prototypical nose tackle necessary to plug up running lanes and smother opposing running backs, something greatly needed to help DC Gus Bradley’s defense reach it’s full potential.
