The Chargers finally got some good news on the injury front today. A bunch of players that have missed a good chunk of training camp are returning to practice today.
CB Trevor Williams, DT Justin Jones and FB Anthony Manzo-Lewis back at practice today for Chargers.

This is very good news for the Chargers. Trevor Williams has been missed in the Chargers starting secondary and will be a welcome sight out there opposite Casey Hayward.
DT Justin Jones, the 3rd round pick for the Chargers this year, injured his ankle 2 weeks ago and has missed both preseason games. The team has not looked great on the DL so getting to see what Justin Jones brings to the table is going to be important.
FB Anthony Manzo-Lewis is a long shot to make the roster, as the team likes what they have in Derek Watt, but having him back in the rotation is a good thing.
These three players returning to practice comes on the heels of Forrest Lamp returning to full participation in practice yesterday and the report that Joey Bosa will likely be back practicing this week as well.
Hopefully this positive trend carries through the rest of the preseason.
UPDATE:
Chargers CB Trevor Williams (ankle) and RB Austin Ekeler (calf) are also back at practice.

Austin Ekeler is also back?! Yep, it’s a good day at Chargers camp today.
