The Los Angeles Chargers in a partnership with Spectrum SportsNet have announced that they will premiere a new series called Backstage: Chargers on Thursday, September 6, on Spectrum SportsNet. It will also be available the following day on Facebook at facebook.com/backstagechargers for those without access to Spectrum SportsNet.
The documentary series which will run throughout the season follows in the footsteps of NBA and MLB counterparts Backstage: Lakers and Backstage: Dodgers. The show will air on a biweekly basis in 30-minute episodes. The idea behind it is that we will get a behind the scenes look with (heavily curated) access to the locker room, meetings, team transport, and the actual games.
Per Chargers.com:
Spectrum SportsNet will be the home of every original Backstage: Chargers chapter, starting with the series debut on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 9 pm. Backstage: Chargers will premiere on a bi-weekly basis on Thursdays at 9 pm on Spectrum SportsNet all season long. Each chapter will also re-air Saturdays on ABC7, the Chargers’ local broadcast TV partner, post Friday evenings to Facebook Watch, and air on KFMB in San Diego.
And for those who are unable to tune in to watch we will be recapping the episodes here at Bolts From The Blue.
