The Los Angeles Chargers star edge defender, Melvin Ingram, had previously been a no-show for the voluntary Organized Team Activity (OTA) but per the O.C. Register’s Jack Wang, Ingram has now arrived at Chargers OTAs:
Melvin Ingram has arrived at Chargers OTAs.

While star players have shown us again and again that participation in offseason (and even preseason) activities is often overrated, it is still encouraging for the Chargers and their fans to see Ingram make his way to OTAs. Overrated though it may be, there is still value to be had from practicing as a unit. The Chargers have made additions to their defense this offseason that will be expected to play big roles, so there are added benefits to getting the entire group together earlier in the Summer.
