Keenan Allen Impressed by Mike Williams - Ricky Henne
“He wasn’t sure about all the plays (last season),” Allen explained. “This year, he acts like he’s been in the playbook. When he runs routes, he’s on depth. Today, he was more physical when he was getting pressed. He looked good.”

Chargers should snag DT Johnathan Hankins - Gavino Borquez
Hankins is a player who has experience playing in the Giants’ 4-3 defense and the Colts’ 3-4 defense. During his 2017 campaign, he played well and was ranked as the No. 20 defensive lineman by Pro Football Focus with a grade of 85.0. Hankins is a terrific run stuffer with some minor pass rushing ability.

Chargers should be on the phone right now with Antonio Gates - Eric Williams
"I walked out of the locker room by myself," Allen said. "That ain't happened since I've been here. I came out right on time. We started at like 9:30. Me and Gates are usually the last ones out of the locker room. I was out here by myself today. I definitely miss him."

Five teams who could surprise with an NFL Wild Card appearance in 2018 - Gordon McGuinness
Would it really be a “teams who could surprise in [insert year here]” without the Chargers? 2018 has the potential to be different through, because this is a team with a defense that just might be the best in the NFL, and an offense that is set up to give Philip Rivers one last push.

The Los Angeles Chargers are primed for a Super Bowl run - Michael Renner
The combination of a deadly pass-rush and a secondary bereft of weak spots is a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks. That’s especially true in Gus Bradley’s Cover-3 defense that allows his defenders to play incredibly fast because they’re executing the same role play after play. Last season, the Chargers ran Cover-3 on 55.6 percent of their passing snaps a season ago, the highest rate in the NFL.
