The Miami Dolphins are now on the clock!
CB Denzel Ward: Ohio State’s Ward is an explosive athlete and would certainly improve the cornerback rotation in Miami.
CB Josh Jackson: Arguably the top corner, Jackson could go to the Dolphins here.
DE Marcus Davenport: A standup rusher at UTSA, Davenport has packed on size and projects as a 43 DE in the NFL.
DE Harold Landry: He lacks ideal size, but Landry has excellent burst and is likely to be a productive pro.
OG Isaiah Wynn: While shorter than you’d like to see at tackle, he comes close to still being athletic enough and technical enough to play there. He could also shift further inside to center.
OT Connor Williams: He had an uninspiring 2017 season and could potentially kick inside, but Williams is a physical specimen and could stick at tackle.
CB Jaire Alexander: There is some concern about his ability to stay healthy, but Alexander is quick and instinctive.
OT Mike McGlinchey: The Notre Dame tackle has great technique, but he will need to get stronger to play at a high level in the NFL.
LB Rashaan Evans: The Dolphins are badly in need of a linebacker and Evans is the best left on the board.
QB Josh Allen: There has been a lot of talk about the Dolphins drafting a quarterback to compete with Ryan Tannehill. Allen could be that.
QB Baker Mayfield: The same is true about Mayfield.
DT Maurice Hurst: He’s a 3-tech and he’s a good one. He’s a little on the small size, but he’s an athlete.
WR Calvin Ridley: Having lost Jarvis Landry, the Dolphins could potentially add a wide receiver in the draft even though they were active there in free agency. Ridley is arguably the best receiver in the draft.
WR Courtland Sutton: He’s a possession receiver. He’s big, he’s tough, and he lacks quickness.
