In the 6th round of the 2018 NFL Draft, pick 191 overall, the Los Angeles Chargers have selected WR Dylan Cantrell from Texas Tech.
This is a good pick for the Chargers. They need more depth at WR as the future is pretty thin at the position.
Cantrell is a big WR at just shy of 6’3, 226lbs. He is VERY athletic, and had a 9.85 RAS (Relative Athletic Score) which is good for 30th best out of 1876 WRs graded in the system going back decades.
Highly productive, he averages 11.9 yards per catch with 18 touchdowns in his career. He can also play more of an H-Back rather than a straight up WR. Had been graded as high as a 4th rounder by some.
For a 6th round pick this is good value.
