2018 NFL Fan Vote Mock Draft - Carolina Panthers Are on the Clock - Pick 24

NFL: Miami Dolphins at Carolina Panthers Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The Carolina Panthers are now on the clock!

DT Maurice Hurst: He’s a 3-tech and he’s a good one. He’s a little on the small size, but he’s an athlete.

DE Harold Landry: He lacks ideal size, but Landry has excellent burst and is likely to be a productive pro.

CB Jaire Alexander: There is some concern about his ability to stay healthy, but Alexander is quick and instinctive.

WR Courtland Sutton: He’s a possession receiver. He’s big, he’s tough, and he lacks quickness.

LB Leighton Vander Esch: An athletic, 3-down linebacker, Vander Esch could definitely be a mid-1st round pick.

WR D.J. Moore: Probably a slot receiver in the NFL, he has the quickness for it and could also add value as a returner.

CB Mike Hughes: The UCF product is a short but physical corner. He lacks experience which gives a somewhat steeper learning curve as he enters the NFL.

CB Isaiah Oliver: He has an elite combination of size and speed but has some technical deficiencies and is a less than stellar tackler.

QB Mason Rudolph: Some think Oklahoma State’s Rudolph is a Day 2 prospect, but others disagree and his numbers were certainly impressive.

RB Sony Michel: A north-south runner who can run through arm tackles, Michel is a potential first-round talent.

OT Kolton Miller: The UCLA product has good size and length, but there are questions about his athleticism.

C Billy Price: Ohio State’s Price has good strength, but lacks length which is not a huge concern at center. He plays with an edge, but that also occasionally gets him in trouble.

DE Arden Key: There are plenty of red flags here, but he has the potential to be a quality pass rusher in the NFL.

S Justin Reid: He has the athletic ability and ball skills that let you see him as a potential first-round pick.

WR James Washington: He has a limited route tree and was not challenged much by Big 12 defenses, but he gets open deep and makes big plays.

WR Christian Kirk: Lacks desirable speed, but he is quick and works well underneath. Probably limited to playing in the slot.

DE Sam Hubbard: He has the size and motor to play at DE, but he lacks the athleticism that would allow him to excel as a pass rusher.

S Ronnie Harrison: Alabama’s Harrison has the size and athleticism you want from a safety, but he plays a bit out of control and has technical deficiencies.
